When does cancellation take effect?

At the end of the period you've already paid for.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. Access normally continues until the end of the current paid period, and the exact date is shown in the billing portal and on your membership page.

After that date your account moves to Free. You keep your account, your saves and anything you purchased.
